A Message from the President

As President, my prime motivation in establishing Bishopstown Toastmasters is to ensure that each and everyone who joins will have the opportunity available to them to develop high quality Communication and Leadership skills. To that end the policy of Bishopstown Toastmasters is to appoint each new member a mentor. A mentor being an experienced Toastmaster to establish a member's goals. The primary goals of Toastmasters is the completion of the foundation Communication and Leadership courses. Central to helping members achieve their goals will be a well run group, with high octane meetings with fun as our foundation.

"Toastmasters for me is about confidence. Confidence is ones own ability to stand and speak before an audience and the confidence to lead. Most importantly the confidence to have fun in our personal development."

John Keating
President
Bishopstown Toastmasters
