Bicester Achievers Speakers Club

- the public speaking club for the North Oxfordshire area.

Which would you prefer given the choice – death or speaking in public?

Research shows that 71% of the population is terrified of speaking at meetings, conferences or social occasions such as weddings and list it as their number one fear. This terror affects people from all walks of life, from business leaders to private individuals.

The prospect of having to stand up and deliver a presentation or speech ("Could you just stand up and say a few words?") whether at work or a social event, can be nerve-racking.

Bicester Achievers is a speakers club where you can learn from scratch the art of presenting, speaking and listening in a safe and friendly environment. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned speaker, we provide a supportive platform from which you can build your confidence and practice your speaking skills.

The club is part of the worldwide Toastmasters International organisation and uses the proven process that can turn the most shy and nervous person into a confident public speaker in a matter of months.
