A Welcome from the District Governor
Tongue tied and knocked kneed?

Have you a difficulty with speaking in public? Are you fearful of expressing your opinion in an open forum?
These are very widespread fears, - considered to be in the top three fears which afflict humans.

The best way to overcome any fear is to face it. By joining a Toastmasters Club you will have the opportunity to practice speaking, in a friendly, supportive, non threatening environment. Here you will find the joy of public speaking as you find your voice, while being encouraged by your fellow club members.

Acquiring the skills of public speaking can have life changing effects, as confidence grows in all aspects of career and social situations. New horizons open to you.

You have some public speaking skills and experience? You would like the opportunity to practice and improve your proficiency? A Toastmasters club provides the ideal forum. In a Toastmasters club, the members range from beginners to champion speakers.

Why not come to a meeting, just to see what it is like? There is no charge or obligation, only a warm welcome to greet you.

To find a club convenient to you, click on "Find a club" - in the navigation panel on the left.
We look forward to meeting you.

Mary Murtagh
District Governor.
